Erwin Carter, CBSE — CEO
Erwin is the president and chief executive officer for Peak Workforce Solutions, LLC . He serves on the Board of Directors for the company which is headquartered in Greenville, SC.
Growing up in Aiken South Carolina, Erwin was afforded a unique opportunity to be exposed to a diverse culture and environment at a very early age. As the son of hardworking parents who were living in the midst of the Civil Rights movement in the Deep South, they raised their children with character and optimism and instilled in them the belief that you could accomplish anything that you strive to do whether that was in furthering your education, participating in athletics, giving through community service or pursuing a career.
Erwin explored many college opportunities and eventually chose Davidson College because of its deep commitment to a very strict honor code and the value they placed on individual development as it relates to becoming a “servant leader.” Erwin received his Bachelor of Science in Economics and joined the banking industry in a very dynamic period where consolidation was underway and specific specialties were being created.
During his years in the banking and financial services industry, Erwin held a variety of leadership positions within international trade finance, corporate banking, private banking and treasury management. His exposure to global cultures offered many opportunities to leverage diversity in a very positive way and work on solutions that brought the power of diversity to achieving increased levels of success.
In 2012, Erwin took his belief in diversity and sought to develop a company that reflected the power that diversity could bring to an enterprise and to leverage that power by providing an environment that could have a positive impact on all the individuals within that company. We know that company today as Peak Workforce Solutions.
Erwin’s focused and inclusive leadership style has made Peak Workforce Solutions a valued “Supplier Diversity Partner” and has provided a continuous flow of opportunities for all Peak Workforce Solutions associates to rise beyond their own expectations and obtain the leadership and management skills that would make them a valued member of any organization.
Erwin also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta, is a member of the Advisory Council of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce Minority Business Accelerator (MBA) Initiative, is a member of Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Council and is a former member of the Board of Trustees of Davidson College in Davidson NC.
Ryan D. Hendley, Director
Ryan is the director of Peak Workforce Solutions and serves on the Board of Directors for the company which is headquartered in Greenville, SC.
In 1983, after 10 years of teaching and coaching football on the high school and college level, Ryan began his place in the family's industrial maintenance business and in 1993 he became president and chief executive officer. Ryan joined Peak Workforce Solutions in 2012.
Matt Nesbett, CFO
Matt received his B.S. Degree in Accounting from Heidelberg University in Tiffin Ohio and began his professional career serving in the manufacturing and textile industries where he held a variety of leadership positions to include Division Controller, Director of Finance, Global Finance Manager and International Business Controller.
After joining IH Services in 2008 as Vice President and Controller, Matt began to update all back office accounting systems, implemented the current ERP system that enabled financial reporting and analysis down to the individual customer account level and integrated the electronic timekeeping system directly into payroll processing which created an almost paperless environment.
Since assuming the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position in February of 2015, Matt has been instrumental in the implementation of an Applicant Tracking System that will provide all levels of management with a streamlined cloud-based HR and Payroll system.
Matt holds a license in South Carolina as a Certified Public Accountant, is an active member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and holds positions on several committees that promote “Best Practices” throughout the state.
Chad Hendley, COO
Chad is 3rd generation, his grandfather, Dick Hendley, started their family business back in 1955 and his father, Ryan Hendley, (BSCAI Past President) is currently the COO of The IH Services Family of Businesses. IH Services, Inc. has a family rule that requires family members to go out and do something else for 5-7 years before working in the family business. Chad worked in the furniture business (sales) during college through the end of 2004. Chad was offered a job with the family business in December 2004 and started with IH Services in January 2005 as an entry-level Business Development Manager reporting to Parker Moore.
Chad graduated from Liberty University with a BA in Business Finance in 2000 and holds BSCAI’s Certified Building Services Executive (CBSE) designation.
Chad and his wife Sarah have been married for 14 years; they reside in Simpsonville, SC and have a 7-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy that both attend Southside Christian School in Greenville, SC. Chad is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with his family.
